In my work, I explore the materiality of language through performance and installation, with poetry at its center. I work with the voice, looping contemporary scripts of maintenance until they fall apart. I’m drawn to the mundane, the daily, the girl vlogger, get ready with me, what i eat in a day, what's in my bag, sunday reset, the aestheticized labour of holding it/a self together.
Central to my practice are queer-feminist temporalities, nonlinear and cyclical, resistant to acceleration, that offer other ways to relate to bodies, environments, and futures while addressing ecological anxiety, among climate breakdown. Where capitalism scripts time into a linear resource, writing lets me move between human timescales and planetary change.
My poems are written to be spoken and they exist as objects, performance props and sculptures.
I have shown work at BRUTUS (Rotterdam), Nieuwe Instituut (Rotterdam), HetHEM (Zaandam), RIB (Rotterdam), and Kunstforening (Tromsø). My sound work has aired on Radio WORM (Rotterdam) and Kiosk Radio (Brussels). Since 2025 I work as a tutor providing thesis and graduation guidance at DesignLab, Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam.
